GORUCK’s Veteran’s Day sale for 2018 is live! Prices are updated on the website and there’s a special section for the deals. This is the first major gear and apparel sale since the price increase of 2018. This makes it especially interesting to see what GORUCK is discounting.
The two major pieces of gear on the discount list is the Bullet Ruck and the Rucker 2.0 (or is it 2.1?) The Bullet is down to $135 (from $195) and the Rucker is down to $175 (from $265) which are both nice discounts.
GORUCK’s Veteran’s Day Sale brought cuts across the board for apparel. All apparel (made by GORUCK) is discounted 35%. When the price increase went into effect GORUCK also extended the warranty on their apparel. Now that all GORUCK apparel comes with a lifetime warranty these deals are that much sweeter.
I know everyone was pining for a sale on the GR1 but that doesn’t appear to be happening. The best you’ll get is a free GR1 Field Pocket with purchase of a GR1. Not a bad deal but also not anything to write home about. More of a bonus if you needed a GR1 at the moment.
Also absent from GORUCK’s Veteran’s Day Sale sale are all three sizes of the GR2, GR3, and Echo. Maybe we’ll see a discount on those come Black Friday?
It’s worth noting that the sale pricing stacks with the earned service discount. If you qualify for that don’t forget to use it!
For historical purposes here’s what the GORUCK’s Veteran’s Day Sale 2018 page looked like when the sale launched:
I’ve already placed my first order of the sale for a light full zip and the mid-weight challenge pants. I know Black Friday and Cyber Monday are coming soon but these apparel deals are tough to beat. Trying to decide if I should take advantage of discount on the Rucker deal now for Veteran’s day, or hold out for a discount on the GR1 for Black Friday. I really want the GR1.

GORUCK has a 30 day return period for cash back and a 60 day return period for store credit. You could pick up the Rucker today and keep the tags on it then wait and see what happens for Black Friday / Cyber Monday. If there’s a GR1 on sale then you can grab it and return the Rucker and if there isn’t then you just got a Rucker for a good price :)
The only disadvantage here is that you’d need to be able to pay for both and hold out for the refund to take place. According to their website returns are processed and refunded within 14 days of receipt so it could take two weeks to get that Rucker money back.
