The ADR team currently consists of the following individuals:
Brian Lohr (Founder)
Brian completed his first GORUCK Challenge in August of 2011 right after graduating college. His class number was 053 and he still belives that event was one of the hardest things he had ever done. When he finished he said that this was a one and done kind of deal… there was no way he was doing another event. Obviously he was wrong (and an idiot) because he’s done more of them ever since.
In addition to running this website Brian is a contributor on GRT Evolutions and TRVLSQD.

Current Writers
Derek Hill
Derek is just an average joe who enjoys exercise as a hobby. He’s bounced around all kinds of hobbies and interests through the years, cycling, running (that was dumb), golf, photography, CrossFit and rucking. He still does some CrossFit, has started cycling again (mostly on Zwift) and really enjoys the endurance aspect of rucking and ruck workouts. He lives in Mayberry, yes really, and has an amazing newborn son & an awesome wife.
He works for a national non profit in finance and loves his job. In addition he helps coach a functional fitness class for 55+ year old folks and that’s amazing. He has his own blog where he writes infrequently and chronicles things he feels like he might want to look back on but no one else will probably want to read. Link coming soon.

Watson (Sr. Editor) – RIP
If you’re curious as to why the writing is so bad it’s because this guy this our Sr. Editor. Watson is a rescue mutt who was adopted when he was seven years old and is now at least ten. Everyone is pretty sure he has some shepherd and some blue heeler in him and they always make sure to tell him that. He’s 60 lbs of active and near blind so that’s always an adventure.
