- Rucking + Additional Challenge (Mileage): Rucking: This month's Rucking Challenge is the same as the Function Check: a 1 mile ruck, shuffle or run for time.
Additional Challenge: After completing the May Function Check, take your mile time and divide it by 8 to determine your 200m pace. Using the same weight vest or ruck (slick is ok too) used for the function check you will do the following:
Week 1 run/shuffle: 10 x 200m intervals at your 200m pace minus 10 seconds
Week 2 run/shuffle: 8 x 200m intervals at your 200m pace minus 15 sec
Week 3 run/shuffle 6 x 200m intervals at your 200m pace minus 20 sec
Week 4 run/shuffle 4 x 200m intervals at your 200m pace minus 25 sec
Complete each week's goal in one session. Do all wearing same vest/ruck worn for function check (unless done slick - ain't no shame in the slick game).
Also: Don't do math in public.
