GORUCK Tribe Tracker – Changelog

Here’s the changelog for the GORUCK Tribe Tracker. It includes upcoming feature enhancements as well as everything that has changed within the application.

Feature Enhancements

Here are potential upcoming features in no particular order. If you have an idea for a new feature please send a message to me!

  • Multi-select mileage: The multi-select for mileage is great on the phone but not ideal on a computer. Once you use it a few times it’s easy but the way it operates isn’t exactly intuitive.
  • Teams? Create subgroups so you can track and hold your friends accountable.
  • Slider for reading: Allow users to either choose yes/no or a percentage slider for how far along they are in reading the book.

  • Feature: GORUCK Tribe Strength now available.
  • Fix: Social image now works when there’s only 3 requirements in a month.
  • Fix: Social image no longer confused how many times you’ve rucked when the year is 2022.
  • Fix: Social image now works for previous months that have daily rucking requirements.

  • Feature: GORUCK Tribe Suffer now available. GORUCK was late (and inconsistent) with the info on this which is why it took longer than normal.
  • Feature: Backend “Is Ready” functionality to improve user experience when new months are being added.

  • Fix: Tracker will no longer break if the new month arrives and the Tribe information isn’t ready yet.

  • Feature: GORUCK Tribe ENDURE now available.
  • Enhancement: Started work on the ability to handle GORUCK’s new “Advanced” tasking.
  • Fix: Resolved an issue where if you had the registration page open in multiple tabs then clicked register in each tab you could mark yourself registered for the same event multiple times.

2021.02.28 – Version 1.1.4

  • Feature: GORUCK Tribe MISERY now available.
  • Enhancement: Social image now supports both 4 and 5 requirements in a month.
  • Fix: Various formatting & text improvements.

  • Feature: GORUCK Tribe LOVE now available.
  • Feature: Added ability to handle non-daily, non-individual work (example: 4 times in a month).

2021.01.29 – Version 1.0.10

  • Enhancement: Social image now shows on track (for mileage) if you are up to date OR if you are only missing the current day’s ruck.

  • Feature: Dropdown below patch board that allows you to “register” or start tracking events that have finished.

  • Feature: Patches on patch board now link to the information on that challenge. This sets the ability to view and alter previous month’s information.

  • Enhancement: Creating an account from the GORUCK Tribe Tracker now redirects you back to the GORUCK Tribe Tracker.

2021.01.25 – Version 1.0.6

  • Enhancement: Changed social image status for daily mileage. Now shows Complete / On Track / Behind instead of percentages.

  • Feature: Default everything to New York time zone if no datetime is set in user settings.
