All Day Ruckoff (also known as ADR) was founded in February of 2013 to provide some much-needed motivation for people looking to tackle a GORUCK Challenge.
At the time there were only a handful of event reviews (AARs) spread out over several different websites. They were both tough to locate and mostly focused on the difficulty of the events. After competing numerous GORUCK challenges I wanted to create a website focused on the positive aspects of taking part in them… not just the physical beat downs that they bring.
Since inception ADR has grown into an expansive website featuring AARs, gear suggestions, training advice, a stocked online store, YouTube channel, and Podcast. Growth is inevitable and something that I strongly embrace so continue to expect further expansion and innovation in the future.
There is so much about All Day Ruckoff that makes me proud. Whether it’s helping people tackle their first endurance event, prepping people to crush a goal, or supporting charities though initiatives like Charity Challenges.
I try to support members of the GORUCK community whenever possible. The majority of the All Day Ruckoff patch collection has been purchased from members of this community to assist in their fundraising endeavors. In addition, when I choose suppliers and companies to work with I always look within the GORUCK community first.
The two sayings that continue to float around ADR are “Attitude Is Everything, Keep Yours Positive” and “Better Than Yesterday.” The ideas here are that while positivity might not always catch on negativity will spread like wildfire. In addition, one thing I strive for is continuous improvement. Whether it be mental toughness, physical toughness, or something else I strongly feel that every day we should be able to look back and pinpoint at least one improvement that has been made.
Stay positive and be better than you were yesterday.
