Here’s community updates that have occurred in the past week surrounding the GRT and rucking community as well as interesting posts and news pieces we’ve found interesting:

1. GORUCK SCARS Offers Ruck & Apparel Customization: If you want to customize your ruck with extra handles, patch areas, paracord, or webbing you can fill out their form and get moving on that. This is huge news and is something GORUCK has never offered at this level before!
2. GORUCK Star Course 2019 Dates & Distances: GORUCK has released 28 Star Course locations for 2019! In addition to the expanded calendar there are also 12 mile and 26.2 mile ruck distances. These should be great opportunities to get ruckers into an event that don’t want to train up for something 50+ miles long.
3. Blayne sits down with Dan Bailey: After GORUCK Selection 020 Blayne sat down with CrossFit and GORUCK athlete Dan Bailey. Check out the video of their conversion that GORUCK released this week.
4. Register for Star Course get 20% off MACV-1: GORUCK put a quick discount up on the MACV-1 boots if you register for any Star Course event. Register before 11/6/2018 and GORUCK will send a discount code for 20% off a pair of MACV-1 boots to you.
5. GORUCK Renames Heavy Pants: The GORUCK Simple Heavy and Challenge Heavy pants have been renamed Midweight. Still the same pants now with a name that better suits them.
6. EVERGOODS Releases Red CPL24: Jack Barley (co-founder of GORUCK) is also the co-founder of EVERGOODS. EVERGOODS released a red version of their popular CPL24 pack that is limited to 100 bags. There’s still a few left in stock as of posting this and yes… we got ours.
7. PATHFINDER Ruck Training Class 018 Started: Registration is still open for PATHFINDER Ruck Training Class 018 however it did start on 11/1/2018. There’s still plenty of time left in the course to get your requirements in so if you’re considering it then sign up ASAP!
8. Charity Challenges Fall Challenge 2018 Started: The Charity Challenges Fall Challenge 2018 has kicked off! There is still time to register for this virtual event where 100% of net proceeds are going to the Marine Raider Foundation.
9. Run Ranger Run 2019 Registration Opened: Lots of GORUCK Ruck Clubs put together teams last year to complete 565 miles in February.
