GORUCK has just released the dates for a number of 2019 Star Course events. One of the biggest changes this year is that they’ve added two additional distances to each location. For 2019 instead of a single 50 mile event every location will have 26.2 and 12 mile rucks as well!
It’s really cool to see that the start times for the three events are all staggered. GORUCK did this so that they should all end around the same time for a bigger endex party. Who can argue with a bigger after party with more GRT there to cheer their fellow finishers on?
In 2019 GORUCK is bringing the Star Course to 27 cities which is roughly 2.7 times as many cities as they did in 2018. The Star Course was an incredibly fun event and it’s exciting to see them expand on it in the coming year.
While the Light/Tough/Heavy do contain rucking there is also a TON of PT and team building at those events. The Star Course is pure rucking which opens up the doors to people who might not have previously considered GORUCK events. There were a lot of first timers at the Seattle Star Course and we hope to see even more in the coming year.
