Description
The Field Notes Chicago edition notebooks are an awesome take on their normal grid edition. Although we’ve only been to Chicago a few times it is definitely a city to remember. Even if you’ve only been there once the “Practical Applications” in the back will give you a laugh as they’re very Chicago-centric. As always these Field Notes notebooks are made in the USA from people who love what they do. The below excerpt is from the Field Notes website and shows what these notebooks mean to them.
FIELD NOTES celebrates the home of their Midwest HQ with the new FN-28 “Chicago” edition. It’s not part of their limited COLORS edition, it’s just a little something they whipped up to keep themselves busy and warm as the temperature drops below zero.
The cover is their standard French Paper Co. Dur-O-Tone 80#C “Packing Brown Wrap”, featuring Chicago’s sky blue and red flag (ranked by vexillologists as America’s second-best municipal flag!). Inside, you’ll find a new set of Chicago-centric Practical Applications, and our standard Finch 50#T “Bright White” graph paper.
To paraphrase Nelson Algren, Chicago may not always love you back, but your Chicago Field Notes will always be there for you. There’s no better place to keep track of italian beef joints, Blackhawks point streaks, neighborhood bars, Mayoral election calendars, and parking dibs.
