The GORUCK GR1 in Wolf Grey dropped Thanksgiving night and sold out within 30 minutes. Don’t worry if you didn’t get one… GORUCK has confirmed a restock so that you won’t have to pay ridiculous prices for one. I was able to pick one up and thanks to the magic of living ~10 miles from the GORUCK warehouse it arrived the next day. The GORUCK website no longer shows pictures of the Wolf Grey GR1 color so I went outside and shot some so that you’ll know what the pack actually looks like.
If this is a color you’d like to own I’d recommend checking the GORUCK GR1 page a couple times a day or “like” All Day Ruckoff on Facebook. Fans of the ADR Facebook page knew about the Wolf Grey release within minutes of it going live and I know that helped some people out.
Brian, do you still have the wolf grey GR1? Is it the 21L version? Or I should I ask are any of your packs for sale?
It’s a 26L pack. Back when it was released there were only 26l GR1s so I never thought to include the size haha. None of my packs are for sale at the moment but what size and color are you looking for?
After some research I think the Radio Ruck or Echo would fit my 5’6′ frame best. It’ll keep the weight higher on my back since I’ll be using those for just events and training. A GR1 21L would be the backup if I can’t find any of the others. Still keeping my eyes glued to the Goruck reddit and eBay in the meantime. But If you know of any please send my way, thanks.
Plus I don’t like the strap system on the Ruckers.
Thanks for posting pics of the Wolf Grey GR1. How does Goruck color compare to Vertx Smoke Grey?
I don’t own anything that is Vertx Smoke Grey but from the pictures online it looks like the Smoke Grey is a little darker.
Is there a difference between the wolf grey and foliage?
Yes, the foliage is a bit more green in color. I *think* I still have bags in both colors so will try and take some comparison pics.
Hi Brian, I was wondering if you had the side by side of the wolf gray and the foliage green? Really close to picking up the wolf grey GR2. Wish I could see them both in person.
