10,000 Push Ups in a month too much for you? Looking for another fun goal to take part in? Robert Marshall, founder of Warrior Ranch and Warrior Shop, has put together a fun push up challenge. The goal? Complete 5,000 push ups by Christmas. That makes for approximately 100 push ups a day which makes for a good reminder to get your workout in.
EDIT! "Warrior 5,000 Challenge" The challenge is to do 5,000 pushups by Christmas. That's around 100 pushups a day. #warrior5000

You can be certain that I will be participating in this challenge and, as always, I suggest that you join me. If you end up actually doing 100 push ups per day (my plan) you’ll end up with around 5,500 (I think) push ups… which is why I included the extra five boxes. Just like in the last challenge I’ll be using the same awesome Field Notes notebooks which I still have a couple left of in the store of. If you want to buy a pack to use for this event use the code Warrior5000 for 10% off.
@AllDayRuckoff I'll throw in warrior bracelets to all who participates.

In addition to suggesting this competition Warrior Bracelets will be awarded to all who participate. Get off the computer and get on the floor… it’s push up time!
Want to sign up for this event and be eligible for the Warrior Bracelet? Do so on the Warrior Shop page and while you’re there check out what they have in store. The goal here is to stay fit up to and through the holidays so don’t let the holidays wreck you.
Warrior 5000 Progress
I’ll be tracking my progress here as this event continues. 5,000 push ups by Christmas here we come!
Mike says
Just did number 5.000!
Brian says
Congrats! I’m going to get my 5,000th in today as well! Did 200 last night, 100 this morning, and only 100 left to go!
Michael says
3805 in as of this post.
Michael says
1265 in at the moment with some burpees and bosu ball pushups mixed in.
Brian says
Nice! I’m up to 1,200 or so now… I think I have a little catching up to do.
CV says
OK I’m in. It’s Nov 9 so I need to step up my daily count, but I’m on it!
Thanks and appreciate the motivation.
Brian says
Glad to have you on board! You’ve got this… just throw an extra 25 – 50 in for a week or so and you’ll be all caught up.
Daniel says
Just found this and signed up today… but that just means I need to pour on an extra 15 every day to catch up. :D
First GoRuck Light in 9 days. I’m sure that will help me catch up too!
Brian says
You’ll be caught up in no time with the GORUCK Light I’m sure!
Tom says
So….how ’bout with feet on a folding chair and hands on push up stands? :-)
Brian says
That’s the spirit! I’ve been doing slow movement to the ground, remove hands from ground, put hands back on ground, then push up. Might have to start using elevation!
Tom says
4300 as of today – will be complete by the end of this week…..
Defensive Training Group says
5K strict form push ups completed today. 38 days.
Brian says
Awesome! I’ve been focusing on form with all of mine as well.
Mike says
Awesome!
Justin says
Sweet. Thanks. Linked and shared.
Michael says
Need 40 more for today to stay on track. Getting ready for a GRL in February and April. I’m old so need more time to get ready.
Brian says
You’ve got it! I’ve done GORUCK events with a number of people who consider themselves “old” (50+) but the mind is the most important part. A strong mind will beat all.
Michael says
Thanks. That is what I keep reading. I have an extra motivation, not to embarrass my son who is doing the Light with me. Question about signing up for this challenge. Should I get an email notification after signing up? I thought I signed up 11/3 but have not received a notification. Not a big deal, still going to do the challenge.
Brian says
If you have any questions about your entry send an email off to [email protected]. They usually respond same day and are very helpful. Otherwise just show up and it will all work out I’m sure.
Michael says
Sorry, I meant the Warrior Shop, not Goruck. They are very responsive at Goruck.
Brian says
Ahh, yes no email from Warrior Shop yet. He’s keeping a record of those signed up though.
Dylan says
Sweet, I’m signed up. Training for GRC on Nov 30 so I’ll be doing the pushups anyways.
