It was only a matter of time before I started reviewing some real “essential” equipment. The GRCoozie (aka a koozie) has many important uses that should not be taken lightly. Here’s a real life scenario that could happen to anyone.
The Setup
What would you do if you were playing Putt Putt golf and were carrying a ton of beer around?
The only good and logical answer to that question is to drink it of course. The rules of Putt Putt so state that you get one stroke off your total for every beer finished… so drink up! And drink it we did… but when you’re playing an active game of golf you need to set your beer down to get your putt on. This is where the GRCoozie comes in to serious play.
The GRCoozie
It seems like everybody has that friend who always seems to end up with the most full can of beer after everyone sets theirs down. I have that friend to. The GRCoozie assists in this because it guarantees you that that friend won’t end up with the beer you just opened while you stand like a jackass swearing the can of backwash your holding isn’t yours. If he did then it would just be silly because that friend has never done a GORUCK Challenge before. See? Even when you’re carrying around tallboys the GRCoozie still shines in its element. All we need now is for GORUCK to come out with a tallboy koozie. Something like this but 1000 times more subtle.
Even IF you don’t have that friend (and believe me you do… either you haven’t caught him yet or it’s you) the koozie aka GRCoozie is a great talking point! People will ask, “Where did you get that koozie good sir?” and you can reply “From America!” Because it’s made in the good ol’ USA by Americans. Or you can say from GORUCK… that works too. Either way you’ve broken the ice with the koozie and now you can tell them without interrupting to hurry their ass up because it’s raining out and your bucket is almost out of beer.
Buy the GRCoozie
As of writing this GORUCK currently sells two different versions of the koozie. They’ve got the GORUCK Tough and reverse flag ones. Buy one or buy both but just make sure to get one to save your beer.
