If you’re reading this then that means I made it safely to Las Vegas for SHOT Show 2015! Today was an awesome day and I was able to run into a ton of people that I only talk to online. There will be a better write-up posted when I return (and have access to something better than a laptop) but for now there’s some pictures from today’s event.
Adams Arms Booth
Tay and I ran into fellow MPBM member Kat in the Adam’s Arms booth… we supplied the patches and she supplied the Red Bull. It was exactly what I needed after waking up at 2:50 am for the flight.
Tay has been flaunting pictures of his HORNEST x Mystery Ranch collaboration pack for some time now on Facebook. Seeing it in person was fun… it might not be my taste exactly but it’s definitely a good looking pack. I think this picture gives a more “true” view of the coloring.
Grey Ghost Precision Booth
Grey Ghost is out of the Tacoma, WA area which is a short 40 minute drive from my location. I saw their booth and had to go pay them some love and I’m sure glad I did. Grey Ghost Precision is the new gun arm of Grey Ghost Gear (the apparel line). Most of their gear is sewn by Tactical Tailor which is also out of the Tacoma, WA area.
Seeing Lakewood, WA on any gun is awesome for me. It’s not every day you see something this beautiful coming out of your own backyard. Speaking of beautiful…
It’s not every day you see a paint job like that. I may have to look into picking one of these up in the future for myself… I mean you have to support local businesses right?
S.O. Tech Booth
The next major stop made was to a company called S.O. Tech. I had been seeing these bears all over the show room and finally asked someone at the Kifaru booth about them. They explained that S.O. Tech sponsored GreenVetsLA and their sewing program to give vets employment. The veterans make these bears which are sold at SHOT Show and earn the money from the sales. It sounded like an awesome program so I had to make a stop by their booth.
Needless to say this is, what I think, an awesome idea and I was more than happy to support them.
Tonight & Tomorrow
If you’re looking to run into me for one of the ADR SHOT Show patches you’ll be able to find me at the ITS/PDW Meet & Greet tonight at 8 pm. If you won’t be there and want a patch please message me (using the fancy message box) or hit me up on Twitter with your booth number (and name) and I’ll make sure to stop by tomorrow. If you happen to see me walking the show floor (I have the ADR SHOT Show patch on both the backpack and the badge) please stop me, introduce yourself, and I’ll make sure to give you one.
