GORUCK’s Black Friday sale for 2019 is now live! This marks six years in a row that GORUCK has celebrated Black Friday. In line with previous years GORUCK has started their sale before the actual Black Friday date. I like this practice because Black Friday is my decorating for Christmas day… I don’t want to spend that day shopping.
The Sale
The sale is fairly extensive and includes the majority of GORUCK’s popular gear. Seeing a Vietnam made GR2 sell for the same price as an American Made GR1 is definitely interesting. Both USA made and Vietnam made 20L Ruckers are down to $125 which is a great deal especially if you don’t have one yet. They’re such a solid pack when it comes to pretty much any GORUCK event.
In addition there’s some Field Pockets on sale in colorways I haven’t seen in a while. I was able to add the picture of the GR1 3L Field Pocket in Multicam to the GORUCK Gear and Colorway Directory which makes for an exciting day for me :D
Missing From The Sale
It’s probably worth mentioning that the brand new Speed Rucker is not currently present in the sale. In addition the Heritage GR1 is still not on sale. That thing has been out for a quite a while and has yet to see a price discount.
Full Black Friday Sale
Just like in previous years I like to take a giant screen shot of the sale page before things start selling out and disappearing. It seems to help people in the future who are curious what has been on sale in previous years.
Final Thoughts
I’m excited for every sale GORUCK has and this one is no different. While I have pretty much everything from them I need I hope someone is able to score something they want. Does GORUCK usually discount events as well?
Historically speaking events get discounted on Cyber Monday so I hope that happens again. Here’s the 2017 and the 2018 Cyber Monday sales which both include some great event discounts.
