I keep tabs on a large number of websites out there and MOTUS is definitely one of them. When they released their Rise Above patch I was instantly a fan of it. The Rise Above patch is a great reminder to always strive to be better than you were the day before. As long as you’re working on improving yourself I’d say you’re definitely on the right track. There’s no better person to compare yourself against than the person you were yesterday.
Do your best to Rise Above all of the challenges placed in front of you. I’m signed up for a GORUCK Challenge this Friday night (6/13/2014) and I’ve been pretty sick for the past week. I could have pulled my registration and saved it for a different Challenge but this is going to be a special event. The Cadre will be a local (Cadre Rich out of JBLM) and it will be the first event he’s run since his return from deployment. Looking at this patch was a great reminder, and a nice push, to stay in the game and participate in this weekend’s challenge.
