GORUCK kicked off 2019 with the Resolution Ruck. Complete 50 miles within the first 15 days of the month and GORUCK will send a Resolution Ruck patch to you for free.
Now that we’re nearing February it appears GORUCK is bringing yet another rucking challenge. Throughout 2018 Ruck Clubs were given monthly rucking challenges however there was nothing available to people who weren’t part of one. It appears like 2019 is going to shake that up a bit with more individual rucking challenges.
If the title of the page is any indicator (MONTHLY RUCKING CHALLENGE) then these will become a monthly occurrence. This is something I’m really excited about because these types of challenges are great for both pushing yourself and bringing community together.
The February 2019 Challenge is called Mile-A-Day. You need to ruck one mile each day of February and then increase the ruck weight on a weekly basis. GORUCK recommends you choose your starting weight carefully and I second that especially if rucking is something that you’re new to.
The only real requirement to enter is to feed GORUCK three email addresses. These should *hopefully* be people who you want to get rucking. The idea here is that GORUCK will send them some intro emails and get them excited about the February challenge. Then, hopefully, they’ll be out there rucking with you to complete it!
Will you be taking part in this event? Let me know in the comments below or on the community page!

Signed up the other day. Really liking the number of new challenges that are out there. Especially motivating during these cold winter months up here.

Yeah it’s nice having things to shoot for and motivate when the weather is doing in its power to demotivate!
