I guess it was only a matter of time before GORUCK decided to change their event discount program. Starting tomorrow (4/17/2014) at midnight (PST) black rucks will no longer fall under the 20% off event discount. However, if you were looking for a colored ruck then you’ll be happy because all of the colored packs will be discounted at over 20% off. In addition GORUCK will be adding a “Steals and Deals” section to their website which sounds pretty exciting. I’m guessing they’ll be selling factory seconds and maybe some used rucks on there… either way as long as they make frequent updates I’m sure it will be an awesome section.

For years, we’ve offered a 20% discount on GORUCK built gear when you register for one of our Events. We’re adjusting that flat discount to help us better manage our inventory levels and still offer you some steals and some deals – welcome to the unpredictable world of supply and demand for gear is our conclusion. The good news for you is that some items will be discounted more than 20%. Other items will not be discounted at all. This will take effect starting tomorrow at midnight. One important change you’ll find is that the Original Rucks in black will no longer be discounted until further notice. However, the Original Rucks in all colors will be discounted more than 20%. If you would like any Original Ruck in black at the current 20% off Events discount before it expires tomorrow, you can get the discount if you (1) are already signed up for a GORUCK Event and you are logged into goruck.com or (2) if you sign up for a GORUCK Event today or tomorrow.
Effective at midnight PST tomorrow, Thursday April 17, black original rucks will be full price.
You can also expect a ‘Steals and Deals’ section on our website to launch at that time as well. Since this is the first time we’ve ever done anything like this, we’ll see how it goes and hopefully you won’t break our website again (doubtful but you never know).
Currently, all orders ship the same day they’re placed. We will work hard to make sure that continues.
