GORUCK ADR TAC Hat First Pictures

If you’ve seen the ADR Twitter account, Instagram feed, or Tumblr blog in the past day then there’s a good chance you’ve seen these pictures already. What you’re looking at here is a piece of gear that has few firsts. This is the first time GORUCK has worked with another company on a piece of gear. This is the first time GORUCK has made a TAC Hat without Velcro. Finally, this is the first time we’ve released a piece of gear.

This project has been a long time in the making and I’m glad it’s finally nearing completion.The first email from this project was sent out in early December, 2013 and now in May, 2014 I have samples in my hands. As you can see from the inside of the TAC Hat the GORUCK panel is present. These hats were both made and embroidered by GORUCK so it truly is a collaboration. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome and so far all the feedback we’ve received has been positive.

We’re still working on the quantity to be ordered but we’re hoping that they’ll be in the ADR store in time for summer. The Ripstop Cotton TAC Hat is a nice light-weight hat which is perfect for that warm summer weather. Hopefully these will be in stock in time to accompany you on your next GORUCK event!
