I really never thought I’d see the day that these were released. Not because there were any issues with the production or other normal pitfalls but because it took ages before I felt like they were finally right. I brought the idea up with friends and and they all pretty much said the same thing: they look great but that market is so niche that no one will buy them. That’s fine… today (August, 21st) is my birthday and today I can do what I want which is to release these patches.
You see, Final Fantasy VII was my favorite video game growing up which means I did not want to screw this up. They had to be perfect. After working closely with our patch manufacturer we have it. A patch that I’m very, very proud of. These wouldn’t be released if they weren’t stellar.
Oh yeah, have you heard of the Child’s Play Charity? If anyone actually buys these patches we’ll be sending some money their way. They do some amazing stuff and make very, very sick children smile a lot. I can’t think of a better charity for a video game related patch to benefit.
These are on sale now for the somewhat reasonable price of $10.
