Two years ago EVERGOODS released their original CPL24 in a limited edition ultra red colorway. This year they’ve released multiple products in a limited edition Signal Blue colorway. Each product is limited to 50 – 100 pieces (depending on the product) and when they’re gone they are gone.
Based on the pictures the Signal Blue is very, very blue. I’m really glad the EVERGOODS team posted some pictures of how the gear looks outside because you get to see that bright color contrast.
When it comes to the EVERGOODS backpacks their CPL24V2, CPL28V2, MPL30V2, and CHZ26 all received the Signal Blue treatment.
- CPL24V2 (Civic Panel Loader 24L V2): $259
- CPL28V2 (Civic Panel Loader 28L V2): $279
- MPL30V2 (Mountain Pack Loader 30L V2): $269
- CHZ26 (Civic Half Zip 26L): $209
If you want to grab a piece of the EVERGOODS collection in this color but don’t want to spend over $200 then there’s the new CAP2 Civic Access Pouch 2L in Signal Blue.
The Civic Access Pouch is EVERGOODS’ first foray into the accessory market. I have one of the these on order (in black) and can’t wait for it to show up. I’m tempted by the CAP2 in Signal Blue so that I can check the color out in person but we’ll see… I don’t really need two CAP2 pouches.
Final Thoughts
If you’ve read Jason’s (founder of GORUCK) book “How Not to Start a Backpacking Company” then it’s worth noting that the Jack from that book is the same Jack that co-owns EVERGOODS. There’s a decent overlap between the GORUCK and EVERGOODS communities because of Jack’s involvement in the formative years of GORUCK. Thoughts on the new Signal Blue colorway? Let me know in the comments!

First off, I love the EVERGOODS bags that I have. They are my other favorite backpack company, alongside GORUCK of course, but each companies’ products serve overlapping but different functions. This Signal Blue range of products looks really nice, but it’s not really my style—I’m more a fan of the more subdued color schemes, like their Black, Dark Khaki, and Standard Gray.
I did order their new CPL28V2, MPL30V2, CHZ26, and the CAP2, and liking all of them so far, just like I have all of EVERGOODS’ other products.

I love all of the EVERGOODS products I’ve got which seems to overlap pretty well with yours! For the “colors” series I kind of wish they had more accessories to do the colors in. Would be a lot easier to grab one of each color without having to actually purchase a pack. Did you grab anything from the Signal Blue range?
Grey Crusader says
No, I didn’t. I think it is good that they are offering a few other colorways, which will appeal to many folks, but I am more a fan of the subdued colors. I really would like a dark gray. :)

Me too! I missed the CAP2 though in Signal Blue… I wouldn’t have minded an internal piece being a bright color. Might make it easier to see inside the pack. Overall though I’m much more a subdued color person too haha.

looks like a good company. how would you compare their quality vs goruck’s bags?
Grey Crusader says
I’d say very comparable. However, where GORUCK rucks have a simple (and a bit military) style, are overbuilt in durability (you can ruck with ridiculous amounts of weight in them for many, many miles), and have basic but useful organizational features, EVERGOODS packs are a bit more refined: their style is simple, but a bit more urban/travel focused, they are still very durable, but I wouldn’t throw nearly as much weight in them as a GORUCK ruck, and their organizational features are outstandingly well thought-out and designed.
