Dear awesome readers,
Last night I created a Facebook page for All Day Ruckoff. You may have noticed that there’s now a “Like” box in the right hand side of the screen. The idea to create the page has been suggested to me on a number of occasions and I finally went through with it. The goal of the Facebook page is to create another avenue to view All Day Ruckoff content. Currently I make an update on Twitter every time I create a new post and this will be similar. I realize people are busy (because I am a busy person) and want content to come to them so my goal is (if you “Like” the Facebook page) that updates will come through your Facebook news feed. I’m not big on email spam (if you’ve noticed I’ve never sent a newsletter) and want everything to be as easy and spam free as possible. If you don’t want to see All Day Ruckoff in your news feed then either don’t like the page or like it and click that fancy “don’t show in news feed” button on the page. My feelings won’t be hurt… again this is just to make things easier for you, the awesome reader.
Changes to come: I’m currently looking into a way to integrate Facebook comments into the website. This would mean if you reply on the All Day Ruckoff Facebook page your comment will appear on the All Day Ruckoff website. I’m treading very carefully in this area because I don’t want people to be surprised that commenting in one place will produce a comment in both locations. I’m looking into this because sometimes we have good discussions on posts and I would hate for people to miss them. Even more than missing the comments I would hate to have two separate threads going (one here and one on Facebook) about the same topic.
If you have any insight, complaints, advice, or anything please feel free to leave it in the comments or shoot me an email at [email protected].
Brian
