It’s not often that I watch a video that believe truly warrants its own post. I scroll through YouTube watching GORUCK videos every week or so and see a lot of fun happening. However, I hardly ever come across something that is as well put together and complete as this video here. It starts with a great explanation of the company and the physical aspects of the event and continues into what exactly makes GORUCK special. It conveys the reasons behind the event and what makes it important to those who participate in it. Frequent interviews with Cadre Bert give a great perspective on what GORUCK is trying to (and is) accomplishing with their events.
Crossfit, regular working out, endurance events, distance running, obstacle course racing… those events make people better. I think events like the GORUCK Challenge makes better people.
The video follows class 621 and features a number of mini interviews with people who participated in the class. The interviews detail why people are doing this and honestly they’re really powerful. I’d like to thank @WGhosts on Twitter for letting me know about this video.

Without further ado here is the video!
Thanks for posting this. GRC 621 with Bert was my first GORUCK event and one of the best experiences of my life. When people ask, I tell them you will make better friends in 12 hours than you have made in 12 years. One of the things that has become part of my everyday life and Bert repeated several times was that it could always be worse.

I completely agree with you on the friendship… some of my best friendships have been forged in 12 hours. Thanks for all that you’ve done and continue to do.
