GORUCK announced on 4/25/2016 that they were bringing back some of their firearms accessories along with the new shooter gear. They modified their GR1 and GR2 with a solid internal wall of Velcro so that pouches can be attached at all levels. The pouches are designed for the both firearm and photography shooters which is a very interesting combination.
You have cameras, you have guns. Maybe … you have both. And if you’re like us, you’d rather not advertise to the world what’s inside your ruck. So we made one major modification to GR1 and GR2 (internal Velcro panels), built a system of accessories, and now you have the Shooter Rucks.
As someone who loves photography, and has yet to find the perfect carry solution, this is something that is very exciting. It will be exciting to see how these turn out and hopefully there will be a review released soon after the packs make their way to market.
