Cadre Brian aka The Firegod was the cadre of my first GORUCK Challenge in Seattle. He brought the pain like I could not beleive… hundreds of yards of bear crawls in the first hour, hours and hours on a huge log, and a false finish like I’ve never seen in a challenge since. Class 053 is one that will live on in my memory forever… that I am sure of. Once Cadre patches started being released I knew I had to get my hands on a Cadre Brian one. This was one of the first Cadre patches that came out and it may have been even before there was a GORUCK Skymall. Each time I look at it I remember running down the stairs of that parking garage then bear crawling for what seemed like ages… those were the days.
