It seems GORUCK has once again released some gear under the radar. This time they have released a sternum strap (to the relief of many), dog leashes, a shoulder strap (for their duffle and kit bags), some new “Look Cool” koozies, and an “I GORUCK New York” patch. All of the pricing on these items is incredibly reasonable which is a very nice thing to see.
Sternum Straps
The Sternum Straps come in Black, Coyote, and Foliage currently. One of the nice things about these (besides the $9 price) is I’m sure they’ll match their ruck colors perfectly. Every now and then I have cases of OCD when gear has a slightly different color where it is off just enough to notice. I’m sure this will solve those issues once and for all.
Dog Leashes
I know secretly that my dog is jealous of all of GORUCK gear. I mean, who wouldn’t be? Now he can finally feel like part of the family with GORUCK dog leashes. At $14 they’re pretty reasonably priced… I know I’ve personally paid more than that in the past for a dog leash.
Shoulder Strap
The shoulder strap is meant to compliment their duffle and kit bags. I know a lot of people were a little disappointed when they learned that the duffle bags didn’t actually come with shoulder straps but I guess now everyone can get their fix.
Look Cool Koozies
Now I believe the Look Cool Koozies are new. Granted I don’t spend much time looking at koozies but I haven’t seen them up there before… at least not in all the colors that are there now. Koozies are nice because they keep your ACRT aka beer cold. They also let you drink when camping and you shouldn’t have beer cans out. That is why I love koozies and probably own more than I should.
I GORUCK New York Patch
I’d like to give a big thanks to a fellow TRVLSQD member for pointing out that I missed a new patch that was released today. Here’s the “I GORUCK New York” patch in all of it’s awesomeness. If I ever do an event in New York I will make sure to pick up one of these.
