GORUCK brought their Rucking For GBF fundraiser virtual ruck back for 2018! They ran the event in 2017 and had huge success. That first year they raised over $100,000 and I can’t wait to see what happens for this year.
Registration for the virtual event is completed by purchasing a patch from GORUCK. Each patch denotes a different number of miles that you are pledging to ruck. The pricing goes up based on the number of miles you decide to go after.
- 10 Miles: $25
- 25 Miles: $35
- 50 Miles: $50
- 75 Miles: $75
- 100 Miles: $100
In addition to the patch sales there’s a shirt this year as well which is always nice.
Last year I pledged at the 5k, 10k, and 13.1 mile increments. I haven’t decided what I’ll go after this year but thankfully I have until December 5th, 2018 to get that squared away.
