GORUCK just announced their latest virtual fundraiser called Ruck Your Colors benefiting Team RWB. The Ruck Your Colors virtual fundraiser is set up in similar fashion to the previous GORUCK virtual events.
You register by purchasing a patch, complete the miles (honor system) on your own time, and receive the patch roughly six weeks after the pre-order phase ends.
In this virtual ruck there are five different distances each with their own pricing:
- 10 Miles: $25
- 25 Miles: $35
- 50 Miles: $50
- 75 Miles: $75
- 100 Miles: $100
If you area member of a ruck club or run a ruck club then this is a great opportunity to rally everyone around and earn a patch. The 10 and 25 mile distances can be hammered out in one ruck (if you want) but you can have some real fun with the 50, 75, and 100 mile distances. Set up 5 weekly 10 mile rucks and everyone will earn the 50 mile patch… it could be cool to use the Ruck Your Colors event as motivation to keep people coming out for some of the longer rucks. Plus… everyone loves earning patches!
GORUCK is also selling a Ruck Your Colors shirt will 100% of the net proceeds going to Team RWB. Those will also be shipping in October, 2018 and are selling for $30.
